Less than seven weeks before I leave for my trip. A bit scary, but mostly exciting at this stage. Still heaps to do at work and on the home front.
Probably the most daunting thing at the moment is trying to work out how to pack for 10 weeks, with temperatures ranging from 30+ in Dubai, to below zero in the northern reaches of Sweden and Norway in December.
The good thing is early planning has paid off. Flights, trains, hotels - all booked.
And this looks like a good place to start - http://www.onebag.com/ What a great site.
After the death of my husband, I realised my road is one we all travel. This blog is my story of travels on a journey we all share. My travels are literal, spiritual and emotional. I am curious and want to keep on learning. I love languages - I'm learning French and Arabic - and photography. Travel broadens my horizons and helps me see the world in a different light. Light and search are recurring themes in my journey to overcome fear and ignorance. A life lived in fear is a life half-lived.
